Shoggoths on the Veldt
Critical Threat Theatre presents a world premiere staged reading of SHOGGOTHS ON THE VELDT, a new play from Cameron McNary, author of OF DICE AND MEN. Sunday, October 12th at 6:30pm
"When famed Victorian explorer Melford Pumbleshire is torn to pieces by something horrible while on safari in Deepest, Darkest Africa, his redoubtable fiance, Euphonia Riggstone, must lead an expedition to put his unquiet spirit to rest. Romance, betrayal, and two-fisted adventure ensue as Euphonia must deal with perfidious cultists, an amnesiac ghost, and... the Shoggoths on the Veldt!"
The reading will take place on Sunday, October 12th at 6:30pm at our favorite game store...Games and Stuff in Glen Burnie, MD.

Of Dice and Men's New York premiere was produced by Dysfunctional Theatre Company at The Brick Theatre in July of 2012. It was directed by Amy Overman featuring: Gyda Arber, Rob Brown, Cedric Jones, Justin Plowman, Adam Swiderski and Amy Beth Sherman..
Chicago's Otherworld Theater performed Of Dice and Men at the Public House Theater in March 2014 and again at GenCon 2014. Directed by Tiffany Keane the production featured Bennet Decker Bottero, Sawyer Heppes, Mary-Kate Arnold, Elliot Sowards, Sam Fain and Gwynn V. Fulcher. |
At the 2010 PAX Prime gaming convention, 550 people waited in line for hours to see the World Premiere of "Of Dice and Men" by Cameron McNary.
The convention staff stopped counting after they turned away 250 people who got there too late.
